Policy Addendem - found or unretreaved credit card, debit card or other ID (Special Procedures*)

The SF Eagle’s policy on lost credit/debit cards found at the bar – when a card is left behind and recovered by a staff member, it is immediately given to the bar manager,  who will attempt to find the card member, unless the card member has already left the bar. The bar manger then stores the card in the bar’s lockbox and notifies the card issuer or issuing bank who provides instructions according to the card issuer’s or issuing bank’s policy. The SF Eagle’s contract with credit card issuers requires us to contact the card issuer directly when when we recover a credit or debit card and the customer has left the premises and cannot be found. The card issuer or issuing bank, not the customer, has final say regarding the disposition of the card in these circumstances. The SF Eagle, or SF Eagle staff members cannot be held liable for unauthorized use of a credit or debit card left by a customer when the card was not directly presented to an SF Eagle staff member for payment of food, beverages, tips or other service. SF Eagle Staff reserve the right to request that any customer entering the bar show a valid photo ID, US State Driver’s License, Government-issued identification Card, Valid Passport or Valid Police-Certified Temporary ID, depicting the customer presenting the card.  Anyone under the age of 21 will not allowed entry into the bar, unless, in the judgement of on-site security and/or the bar manager, an imminent health or security threat requires it, and the people or person(s) requesting emergency support cannot be diverted to a more age-appropriate setting.   When a government-issued photo ID is recovered by an SF Eagle staff member, it is immediately provided to the bar manager who will attempt to find the customer and return the ID if the customer has not left the premises.  If the customer cannot be found, the bar manager will store the ID in the bar’s lockbox, and go to https://thesfeagle.com/lost-and-found-report to fill out as much non-confidential data on the ID owner as possible  Lost and Found recovery reports once submitted attempts to find the IDs owner either by owner text/SMS, owner email.   For more details on the SF Eagle’s terms and conditions of service , follow the link provided.
